How we got Started

Hi, for those of you that dont know us personally, Creative Vision Printlab is a family business. We are a small local business that focuses on canvas and photo printing primarily. Ocassionally we reach and make other creative works- but because they are not along the lines of photography, we dont post them.

As a single parent, my goal has always been to give the most that I can to my children (as parents do). I wanted to make something that would keep us close together and help reduce the financial strain. I didn’t want to be a slave driver (even though all of our own children think we are) in making them do something they didn’t like. So for a period of time I observed their free time and interests. In doing this I found that my son loved legos and kinex and he liked to make things. My daughter was the dreamer though.. she would color all day if I let her.

Then one day, the idea just dropped into my head. Printing has its processes and we can work together to make art!

We as a family do have alot of combined creative talent, so let me officially introduce you: Christopher is my oldest son. He is the person who does our framework. He loves to get hands on and is a bit of a perfectionist in this. I can count on him to always have us stocked and ready to print! Serenity is my daughter, and also the youngest. She has a very good eye for color and creativity. She along with myself are the ones who will prep the images for print and altogether we make certain that the process is seamless from start to finish.
