We are a thrift store, NOT a consignment shop. The Niftee Thriftee Shoppe is operated as a project of the United Methodist Women of Magothy United Methodist Church. Since opening in 1973, the shop has been operated by volunteers, both from the church and the community. It's purpose is mission-based, serving the needs of women, children and youth community-wide as well as nationally and internationally. 100% of our donations come from the community, enabling the shop to reach out to our neighbors through donations of goods such as clothing, household goods and medical aids, including crutches and walkers. Operating as a non-profit, it is only through the tireless efforts of the many volunteers that the shop has been able to continue its operation. We hope you will visit our shop for a truly unique shopping experience!
