Join us this Friday at Spare Time Bookshop for the very first of many Kids Story Hours! 📚✨

From 10:00 to 11:00 AM, bring your little ones for a morning filled with silly stories, sing-alongs, dancing, and plenty of giggles.

We're so excited to welcome local mom and wonderful storyteller Stephanie Husten, who will be leading this fun-filled hour of imagination and adventure.

This event is perfect for kiddos 5 and under, and we'd love to see you there. Come make some magical memories with us! 💛📖

Attention! Booktok Book Club is postponed to next Friday 2/27! This gives you all an extra week to finish reading Book Lovers by Emily Henry! March’s book club will be announced then as well 😍!

ATTENTION 💫 we will be CLOSED until THURSDAY 2-12 for ✨💕termite fumigation 💐🥀💫🙏👐 Don’t worry, our books are safe but our building is getting remodeled and they wanted to be extra safe as they make their improvements! Our online shop and warehouse is still open so we can still pack and ship your orders:)! Also our Valentine’s Book Box is on SALE until this weekend so grab a super cute romance for the season 💕💛🌸 We can also have them ready for PICK UP ON THURS 💕🩷💘Link in bio 💕

Also crazy this is the first time we are closing due to construction or for any reason during normal business hours! Even with all of our crazy remodels we always managed to squeeze that in after hours or on the days the shop is closed! However, even we have to draw the line at lethal gas 💅Thank you as always for the love and support 💕

One last thing, our friends at are using a gas that won’t damage the books, it’s the same gas they use in archives and libraries so don’t worry the shop is in good hands 🩷

Book club is SO back 📚✨

Two clubs, two very different vibes, but whether you’re in the mood for Russian aristocracy drama or rom-com banter and cozy small town vibes (or both!), there’s a seat waiting for you! ☺️

🤍 Classics Book Club: Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy (this one will be divided between two months, because she’s quite the undertaking. The book is luckily in 8 parts, so to stay on track, we’ll read one part per week!)
