About Ortmann Woodcraft

Located in Patton, Missouri, Ortmann Woodcraft is our family owned business, started in 2013, that sells 100% hand-crafted wood products. Our favorite products to create are pens (every color, shape and style) and cutting boards. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction, so if something is not right, please let us know. Our goal is for each of our customers to be happy when they see their Ortmann Woodcraft purchase. You will be dealing with us directly. We design and make all the products, manage our online stores and sites ourselves, deal with all sales processes and answer all phone calls/emails personally. We gather most of the wood from local farms or from farmers whose trees have fallen or are being removed. We even recycle abandoned wood fence posts. Our exotic woods come from sustainability harvested trusted sources. Our satisfaction comes from seeing you enjoy our quality, hand-crafted wood products. While I love physically making pens and cutting boards, my wife (an artist) does a lot of the designing of our products. Together, we enjoy creating masterpieces that are functional and usable art! We hope you enjoy the products as much as we enjoy making them. Don't forget to send us a video of you or the gift recipient opening the package and seeing the fine craftsmanship for the first time. Yours in woodworking,

Jon & Debbie Ortmann

So what did we do on Labor Day? We finished and packed 206 custom pens! They were made from the customer’s tree and will be used in an event next week. This has been a year long process. I’m very happy with the finished product!
