I look at these photos of Trevor, from a 9-year-old kid on a log in gear that was too big for him, to the man standing tall at the park today. It feels like I blinked and a lifetime happened.

The secret is finally out. Trevor is San Jose bound.

I know nobody is going to read a post this long, but I’ve been struggling to find the right words for this all day. It’s a moment of immense pride for me as a father, but honestly, it is also one of the hardest days I’ve faced since we first opened these gates. This park is the end result of a lifetime of riding and building. It started as a vision I pitched way back in 2017 alongside Skye, but it was Trevor who became the absolute heart and anchor of our operations since the day we opened in 2023. This park was our baby.

Now, my son is moving on to a massive new chapter. He has officially accepted a position at Figure AI in Silicon Valley. Working at the cutting edge of robotics has been his dream for years, and watching him earn his way into a company like that is incredible.

Trevor’s last official day here will be at the end of February, and he starts his new role on March 2nd. As for the park, we are working through a transition plan to ensure the shop and trails don't miss a beat, and we’ll have more formal news on the new shop leadership next week.

Please come by the park over the next two weeks. Stop into the shop, shake his hand, and get one last lap in with him before he heads north.
San Jose is getting a good one, but he’s definitely leaving some massive tires to fill here. It’s hard to believe that kid on the log is now the man I'm watching head off to change the world. I’m going to miss having my right-hand man at the park every day, but I have never been prouder of the person he’s become.

SAN DIEGO - You guys pulled through this weekend! I didn’t have any time to make any actual videos, got me running all over the place!! The paved road makes a WORLD of a difference. What we saw here this weekend was what we’ve been envisioning since opening day in ‘23. THANK YOU 🙏

HUGE THANK YOU to for donating these beautiful handmade tool stations for our bike park. These stations will see heavy use by our thousands of visitors every year! The sturdy construction paired with the gorgeous powder coat left me speechless. This was better than I ever could have imagined!
