A fun evening of slot car drag racing at Slot Car Inc/Klassic Arcade. A light turn out as expected with the great weather but still some great competition. We welcomed a newcomer to our group of racers, Chuck Alarid from South Heaven, Mi with some great looking cars and held the best light for many rounds, welcome to Slot Car Inc Chuck. I looked like old guys would rule the evening as 84-year Johan Lofberg won every round in the first round. John would make it the Semifinals with a .008 light but lost to a narrow margin to Evan Rogers who tripped the light with a .005 to secure the best light of the evening, and that was not the last we would hear from Evan. Scott McIntyre and I would battle to get into the final with Evan and somehow, I got around the hard charging Scott to face off with Evan. Both Evan I had a great battle at the Starting line as we both were waiting to see the sun come up but Evan was the early riser to take the win, great job Evan. Thank you to everyone who came out to race and helped run the races, let's do it again next week for another Blue Colar 4 for Thursday drag race event. See less
