Found this cute espresso cup and knew I had to feature it for my “Ordinary Objects” submission. It usually plays a starring role in my Saturday espresso ritual, but this time, I put it to work as a painting subject. Turns out it’s just as good at sitting pretty as it is holding coffee.

When I asked my nephew for dino ideas for the HIVE artspace Triple Feature this month, he came through with this T-Rex drawing. I took some inspiration from his design, but was stoked when Susan decided his original artwork deserved a spot in the feature, too!

Found this little panel painting at a thrift store and fell in love with its chonky gold frame. It turned out to be the perfect home for "Who-oo, Me?"—a kinda abstract, kinda playful owl with absolutely no clue what it is you just asked.

Sure, it looks great in the photo, but, psst, it looks better in person at HIVE artspace this month!)
