They are both Native Arizonans and work to preserve the history of the state. Both have lived in the Payson area more than 50 years and they are the Official Town of Payson Historians. Both Jinx and Jayne are Arizona Culturekeepers and enjoy preserving the past through writings, singing, and story telling. Jinx and Jayne have each authored ten historical books. They enjoy book signings where they
get to meet people and sell books. Jinx has written several songs and has recorded ten of them on a CD titled “Rawhide Ranahan.”
Jinx plays the guitar and sings his own songs, other songs of the Old West, plus he is a great cowboy story-teller and poet and even does a little trick roping. Jayne sings several of the old songs, including Old Paint, Wildwood Flower, Amazing Grace, and How Great Thou Art. If you need Cowboy/Cowgirl entertainment, give them a call at 928-474-0011, email them at [email protected], or drop them a letter: Git A Rope, P.O.
