I thought this one nearly defeated me, from 130° deck temps I decided to move in my shop for the repairs. Now I can think! These are before and after photos of this big green egg nest. The upgrade? Dark walnut finish on cypress lumber, coated decking screws for weather, and a polynano sealer applied to survive these brutal temperatures.

I do seat Caining but the customer didn't want to pay for the labor so I gave him options. I'm removing this Caining and placing fiber board here that will accept stain to match the chair, the tacks will have a vintage look once installed.
