✨Announcement✨

Sometimes life throws you curveballs you simply can’t dodge forever. And I’ve been dodging this one for awhile.

I built The Wandering Bookshop with hopes and dreams that I would get to share it with my community. I’ve enjoyed the moments and connections I’ve made so far.

Right now, I am unable to operate and tow the bookshop’s trailer for several personal reasons, but one I will share is that I may have to move out of state.

And as I mentally and emotionally sit with this unknown, waiting around for a confirmation, I don’t want the books to just sit there; not being read and loved on.

•••So I have opened a PangoBooks account that will help me get the books out of the trailer and into your hands. This option online is a lot easier than my own website.
(If you are also a bookseller and need inventory, reach out to me and let’s talk!)

I hope that my family will be given a confident “you can stay” and I can pack the trailer up and continue to see y’all out at markets again. But for now, we are on pause, still.

I am not selling the trailer at this time. Just its books. I haven’t decided yet if I’ll bring it with me or let it go.

Who’s your favorite chef?

My youngest likes to remind me often that Chef Gordon Ramsay would be very disappointed in my dinner service. He is a budding food enthusiast and tough critic.

A few customers have asked where my cookbook section is in the book trailer. Sadly, in a 7x16 foot shell, I don’t get much play for adding in whole sections. But!! I’ll dedicate some space somewhere 😉

Here’s a few, that I could hold all at once. Any Dungeons & Dragons fans? Whole chapters to satisfy even the pickiest elves, dwarves, halflings, and humans alike.

I’ve never realized how heavy cookbooks are. Who needs to go to the gym when you can just get a stack of cookbooks? Lift. Cook. Eat. Repeat!

Any fans of Cormac McCarthy?

A friend of mine’s son once asked me if the bookshop carries any of his titles. I hate saying no to readers. So I made sure to add it to the list when I’m on the hunt for new titles.

This hardcover boxed set of McCarthy’s and will be available in the bookshop!

📚First market of 2026📚

Woke up with clouds hugging my skin and ended with the sun gracing the bookshop right at the end. It was a lovely Wednesday.

Here are some favorite comments from customers that came to yesterday

🏬 “I rather come here than {insert big box store name here}”

🏋️ “I was on my way to the gym and remembered it was Wednesday. The bookshop!”

🏡 “It’s like a tiny home”

I love interacting with each and every one of you. I love reliving the joy and excitement of someone seeing the bookshop for the first time.

I’ll never get used to this… it’s a new dream every time.

A record time!

2 minutes. It took me a full 2 minutes to scoot down my driveway going backwards! And no redos!! I’m pretty darn proud of myself.

Because it’s so dark in the mornings and I can’t see backing down the long driveway, I do it the evening before the sun sets. Usually it takes me a few tries and redos of straightening out before trying again to get it all done.

I’m learning this new skill well at my own pace that I feel comfortable with. I’m beaming 😊

I won’t be at the market next week due to conference meetings elsewhere. So don’t miss out and come see me at tomorrow from 9am-1pm!
