With a sad heart, I wanted to confirm to all that G's Good Ol Dayz will REMAIN closed for the remainder of the 2020 year. Given that the business had officially been opened for approximately six weeks before Covid-19 hit and government mandates were established, this decision was not an easy one to make. Additionally, with the UNREST and TURMOIL in our country (looting, rioting, protesting, etc.) along with being considered a Non-Essential business, I needed to consider and weigh all options - (overheard costs to remain open vs. loss of profits and the UNKNOWN of what still remains for 2020). I understand the need for the economy to re-open, however I have a “PERSONAL OBLIGATION” to insure the interest and safety of the business, employees, vendors, and customers. I would be SELFISH if I allowed my WANTS to come before the NEEDS at this current time just because of the bottom dollar.

To my vendors - I wholeheartedly apologize that such a SHORT time was shared in the opportunity to rent space, however, picking up your merchandise will give you the opportunity to vend elsewhere and continue to your ability to profit with other venues, along with removing all liability should something outside of my control occur (rioting, looting or theft at the store during this closure time). All of you should have received a personal phone call today and all merchandise needs to be removed from the premises by July 31, 2020.

To my customers – Thank you for the compliments of the remodel of the store which took almost a year to prepare, the “regulars” that came in every week and sharing ideas of what you were looking for. I do not believe that this is the END of the road for this business and am looking at alternatives to seek other methods of still purchasing and selling rare and unique antique collectibles.

Lastly – please continue the path of safety, staying healthy and following the guidelines as set forth. Take care of yourself, family and friends, care and love one another, unite in peaceful protests and speak YOUR VOICE for change to become ONE AMERICA and not AMERICA DIVIDED as we know it today. We ARE ALL in this TOGETHER.

Gs Good Ol Dayz has temporarily closed due to the economy and CoronaVirus. We will continue monitoring the situation and keep everyone posted. To all of our customers (regulars and yet to be newcomers) - G's Good Ol Dayz would like to thank of you whom have been able to stop by, shop, chat, reminisce and even vend with us since opening officially on Feb. 18, 2020. Even though we are currently allowed to remain open per the Governors' mandate, our management team understands that what is MORE important at this time is your health, safety, well-being and peace of mind.

G's Good Ol Days will reduce business hours to three days a week, with tomorrow being closed. Our business hours will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9-3. If you are passing/traveling through and feel like you may not make it back this way but want the opportunity to come in, please feel free to email us at [email protected] and we will try to accommodate a time for you to shop.

We will continue to follow the news and keep everyone informed if we decide to close the business indefinitely during this unnerving time in our country. Our hearts and well wishes go out to ALL OF US as we are ALL impacted in one way or another.

Stay healthy and safe, our thoughts and prayers are with everyone. To reiterate, G's Good Ol' Dayz will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9-3 until further notice.

All - G's Good Ol Dayz is still open for business should you just want to get some fresh air and view unique treasures and finds.....according to Governor Northam just posted 5 hours ago, all non-essential retail businesses can remain open as long as they are limited to no more than 10 at one time....

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for liking my page. Opening a small business and one that I am passionate about has been a long life dream and it is finally coming together!! This is just the beginning - Phase I - Setting the Foundation. Phase II - Paying it Forward - A deep and dedicated focus on developing a resource center called G's Place in the warehouses behind the store to help individuals get back on their feet whom are fighting with or challenged by the OPIOD epidemic, Most are SCARED to talk about it, admit it is in the family or know a family that is affected, then there is ME ( LOL) --- MOTIVATED and EXCITED to have the opportunity to stand up and say I CARE, what can I do? More to come on that later in the year as I begin to plan, partner and unite those that want to join in this crazy effort to PAY IT FORWARD...
