🚨 CASH APP CARD ALERT🚨

If you use a CashApp card for any purchases with any merchant or ATM withdrawals, you need to know this.

I placed an online order with Kroger for delivery. When I looked at my final transaction on CashApp, I noticed an "international fee" had been added to my total.😲

I contacted CashApp because I just knew this was a mistake.

Well, I was surely WRONG.🙅🏽‍♀️😬

CashApp indicated they no longer waive the international fee on transactions for domestic merchants who use international payment processors. They further made a distinction between cardholders who have obtained Green status or not and card present or not present,

Cashapp will "no longer waive the international transaction fees on card-not-present transactions (ie., online or app-based transaction). All card-not-present foreign transactions will incur a 3% Foreign Transaction Fee. in addition to any fee charged by the ATM operator.

Customers who qualify for Cash App Green will have the Foreign Transaction Fee waived for card-present transactions."

So, if your local shop uses an international payment processor and you just have to use that CashApp card, get ready to pony up that International Fee.

Sooo, I ordered a 32oz daiquiri via DoorDash from Daiquiri Island To Go two days ago. That damn daiquiri put me on my ass real quick. I did not even drink a fifth of that sucker. So tonight, I decide I am gonna finish this damn thing.😳😮
Wrong answer. Y'all, man down.

Lawd, I'll be back to Daiquiri Island To Go, but damn, can y'all put a warning on those things?!?🤣

I would be P.I.S.S.E.D.🤬 if this was my order. This order sat and sat and sat. The first pic is what is in the order. The order went through 5-6 delivery windows.

No shopper/delivery driver in their right mind is taking that crap and I can guarantee you it will be up tomorrow. The driver would pass up 5+ Targets on the drive.

Now let's break down why a Target way in SW Houston for a delivery way in northeast Houston was chosen. Instead of having you deal with an "item unavailable" reality, these apps find the stores with the best item availability. The store closest to you has 10 of 15 items but one 20 miles away has 13 of 15 items. The store 20 miles away is where they will have the order shopped, while you think the order is being shopped near you.

Base pay for many orders via these platforms is about $3-$6 with a little extra thrown in for mileage. That little extra is NEVER enough to justify the drive for the delivery. Let's not even talk about getting back to our starting point or "home base." Oh, the pay changes are supposed to be incentive to try and entice someone to take the order.👀 NOT!

Then, your tip, if you even tip, is another factor and I have a separate blog about those. Bigger issue is many don't tip and many shoppers/drivers don't entertain no tip orders. Oh, and we've been lied to so much about "I tip in cash" or "I tip after delivery" that those words don't move us.

Refunding unavailable items doesn't add to their bottom line. Customers should know some stuff is not always in stock. Plus, when you ordered, the item may have said "in stock," but it was only 1 and by the time your order went out, someone walked in off the street and purchased it. Now, none for you.

If you want this practice of sending your order to Timbuktu instead of closest to you, start complaining about it.

Again, I would be PI**ED.

I accompanied a friend on some Door Dash runs and let me tell you, hell to the naw!
With Instacart & Shipt I avoid apartments like the plague and tonight verified why.

Imagine your order having a delivery address that exists, but it is a muffler shop. Dasher calls your dumb ass and you give the same address. Ask for a cross street and you give another address. Ask for the complex name numerous times and you never give one. Ask for a unit number (because we think we are in the right place) but you can't even give that. A request for even a gate code is met with silence and after asking again your response is "hold on I have to text somebody for the code and I am waiting for them to respond." How about your order is canceled because even if we got in, your ass doesn't know a unit number

Another order, the one way you instruct to enter, you have to walk forever to find the unit and the buildings are in no particular order.

Y'all stay tuned for my gripes, groans and helpful hints on alleviating frustrations for you and your shopper/delivery driver when getting anything delivered via DoorDash, Instacart, Shipt and the like.

I've got a little rant about those of you who use delivery services to shop for your special day needs like cards, flowers, and more at the last damn minute. By last damn minute I mean the evening before, but truly the day before. Y'all's expectations need a reality check.

You day of folks, I don't even know what to say about y'all. Your expectations are just hilarious.

I'm going to let you all enjoy Mother's Day and hit y'all with that on tomorrow.
