Picked another bouquet this morning. Believe it or not, I just threw out the last blooms from that bunch I picked two weeks ago. These beauties are rockstars when it comes to vase life. This bunch is zinnias, cosmos, gomphrena, statice, and strawflowers. The last three also dry beautifully and hold their color great!

Went out this morning and cut me some flowers to brighten the house up. I’m so in love and they’ve only just started blooming! I’ve got zinnias, yarrow, cosmos and snapdragons here. Also have statice, strawflowers, gomphrena and a few others starting to bloom.

I’ve been so far behind on my Mammie duties with this new grand baby. I managed to get her burp rags done before she arrived. Put her name on a sleeper when she got here. And today I finally finished her quilt and a little pacifier lovey. Still have a couple more things to finish but happy with the progress I made this weekend!

Brian said we were only going to put out 12 tomato plants this year. So I started 48!! Anyhow, I have some tomato plants available to sell. $2.50 each, varieties listed below.

Addy and Calli approved of Mammie using their jumparine for the flowers. I always harden off my plants on the back porch because it only gets morning sun and is sheltered from any strong winds. I had to get creative this year finding a way to protect them from the chickens wandering through. Btw, Jason,Emma, I love your chickens don’t get me wrong. But I know they like to eat too. Anyhow, the 10 day forecast looked good so they’re gonna hang out here for a while.

Added some faux leather to a suit jacket tonight. I like how it turned out. First time doing something like that.
