Have you heard of Giving Machines?Our family has been traveling to visit them for many years and now we have 2 locations close to us. Giving Machines look just like vending machines , but instead of candy or a pop you can purchase a goat for someone in another country, a bag of diapers for a local shelter, a week's worth of meals on wheels for someone in need and so much more! Our family loves doing this and it's such a fun experience and easy way to give back. Here is a clip about the one in Kansas City. We also have one in Iowa City and I will be volunteering at that one this Sunday late afternoon/evening. It is located in the mall near the Target entrance. Stop in and see me!
