Join us at Brett’s Books on Saturday, April 18th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM for a special book signing with local author George Murdock.

George has been a staple in our community for years, and in Jumping into the Deep End, he finally puts his own history on the page with a twist by revisiting his early days as an assistant principal in the 1970s to imagine the path he didn't take. Since this is George’s first published book, he has shared that it was a lot of work but a true joy to write, so come grab a signed copy and get ready to jump into the deep end with us!

Come get your copy signed, ask George about the stories behind the book, and support a local author as he shares this story with our community!

Looking for a great read about our corner of Oregon?

Join us at Brett’s Books on Saturday, January 17th from 11:00am–1:00pm for a special book signing with author Jack Southworth.

His work offers a fascinating window into the history of the Murderers Creek area of Grant County. Jack explores the history of homesteading, conflict, and restoration in the eastern Oregon back country, bringing to life the stories and people of our region.

Come get your copy signed, ask Jack about his research, and support a local author as you kick off the new year!

Our holiday raffle is now officially wrapped up. Since the January 1st deadline for winners to claim their prizes has passed, we are offering the remaining prizes for sale.

Originally, these required a $10 minimum spend, but you can now purchase a prize for $5. Our prizes include a $25 gift certificate, $20 store credit, surprise bags, and book discounts. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Just stop by the counter if you'd like to grab one!
