For those who still have consigned goods in the store…

I have timed the closing so that everyone who recently consigned with us will still have their original consignment period honored. If you wish that your items not be part of the sale, please be sure to come in ASAP to collect your items. All money earned will need to be collected in store by August 31st. ➡️ STORE CLOSING ⬅️

Dear Valued Customers,

The Sister Exchange Consignment Boutique will be closing its doors for good in September. We are having a “Store Closing Sale” beginning on August 3, 2021 in an effort to clear out the entire store. We’ll be offering large discounts on all items and hope you will come take advantage of these savings.

What about my employees? My employees and I are very close. They have known for quite some time that life was pulling me into a different direction, and that closing was a possibility.

Kathy (my mother-in-law) has decided to retire, again - she missed us too much the first time and came back. This time she plans to focus on her cancer treatment so she can continue to do the things that she loves with the people that she loves.

Cookie has also decided to retire alongside her husband who is retiring this year, too. She looks forward to spending more time with him, taking lots of mini-vacations and having more time to focus on her sewing & alterations.

Just like me, Julie feels that life is pulling her into a different direction and she looks forward to a change. She plans to take a little time off and enjoy all that the fall & holiday seasons have to offer, which is sometimes hard to do when you work retail. She will be a real asset to the next place of employment she chooses.
