A full house and full hearts at the Rough and Ready Firehouse Spaghetti Dinner tonight. ♥️

Pretty sure it was a record crowd celebrating the former Rough and Ready Fire Board, Penn Valley Fire Chief Don Wagner, and the completion of a long consolidation process.

That ambulance “Proudly Serving Rough and Ready” is here to stay and the community could not be more pleased. This station will remain fully staffed with the best firefighters and paramedics in the business.

Three full tables of Penn Valley Fire Auxiliary volunteers were so happy to be part of this amazing evening, hosted by Rough and Ready Fire Auxiliary called BTS (Behind the Scenes.)

Special thanks to Supervisors Sue Hoek and Lisa Swarthout.

We hope you’re planning to join us on Thursday evening for the Rough and Ready Fire Station monthly Spaghetti Dinner. It’s the third Thursday of each month and proceeds benefit the Paramedic Scholarship Fund.

Spaghetti with meat sauce (thank you Jim Gates) and salad, garlic bread, cookies. Feel free to BYOB.

Donations accepted, if you’re able. And if you’re not, that’s also okay. Just come be part of this big, happy fire family.

We are celebrating the completed consolidation of Rough and Ready Fire and Penn Valley Fire so there will also be cake. 🎉

Yup! You cleaned us out over the 1/2 Price weekend, again breaking sales records (!!!) … AND … that allowed us to bust out an entire bouquet of new high end merchandise that we are eager to share with our discerning customers.

Pop in to check out Longaberger Baskets, pottery, and wrought iron (more coming out daily) as well as high end tableware, household items, books, jewelry, clothing, shoes and accessories for the entire family, and so much more.

You never know what you’re going to find in our sweet little thrift shop, but you know the proceeds all go to support our fire agency! 🥳
