Do you ever wonder how much impact you are making when you donate gently used items to our sweet little thrift shop? Or when you shop here?

That specially equipped Rescue Vehicle in the first photo was purchased about a month ago with the dollars raised from your donations and purchases.

The Penn Valley Fire Department Auxiliary wrote the check for that Rescue rig and it has been used a whole lot in the past few weeks. We could not have done it without you!

On Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, our sweet little thrift shop has lost power in the afternoon. Yesterday the power was down for hours as firefighters battled the Mooney Fire. 🔥

Not gonna lie— power outages affect our sales.

It wouldn’t make us sad if you made an extra effort to come in to shop today, to help us recoup some of the losses in sales we have experienced this week due to outages.
