Today, July 3rd, is International Plastic Bag Free Day! ♻️

Each year, 8 million metric tons of plastic end up in the ocean harming fish and wildlife. Which is terrifying when you consider that it takes 100-500 years for a plastic bag to disintegrate. Every minute around the world we use 1 million plastic bags! I could go on!

Today, let’s all make a little extra effort to help save our environment.

Have you ever heard of “Danish Aesthetic”? Top on my travel list is Denmark!
Fun fact about Denmark's environmental impact, they’re one of the world's leading countries in fighting climate change! (within their respective country) In 2019, Denmark announced a 10-year plan to reduce its carbon emissions to 70% below 1990 levels – one of the more ambitious programs in Europe. By 2050, the country aims to be carbon neutral, meaning that its emissions and absorption of carbon dioxide would be zero.
I sure hope they are the first of many to set a trend of environmental consciousness!
