Well yesterday was 30 days since I shattered my arm, physical therapy got started 3 weeks late, so instead of coming in slow, they decided to just catch me up....quite miserable. I am looking at a longer recovery time then originally anticipated, but I am also stubborn and determined....following all the rules, and doing therapy praying I can get back to work and life quicker then they are hinting. I wanted to share a quick update and thank everyone for your incredible support. I saw my doctor on Thursday, and unfortunately my recovery is expected to take longer than we initially hoped. In addition to the shoulder injury, the trauma from shattering the bone has triggered a flare-up of my autoimmune condition, which has made the healing process even more challenging.
While this news is difficult, I remain hopeful and focused on recovery. I am deeply grateful for every donation, share, message, and prayer. Your kindness has helped ease some of the financial stress during this unexpected chapter and has reminded me that I am not facing it alone.
