We will be exploring the book Tarot for Writers by Corrine Kenner that contains prompts and meanings for the cards specifically designed for creatives using the cards to generate content.

Hi all!

If you’ve looked at our calendar for this month you’ll notice two major changes: we park at Jitterbug on Sundays and our list of events is a bit shorter.

I have spent a lot of this summer exposing myself to extreme heat to keep the book truck open and as a result I have been very sick with heat exhaustion. Unfortunately this triggers my medical OCD. My mental health has been at an all time low with this relapse. I say this all to be honest with you. I have done every hour in the heat for the love of books and sharing my business with the community. I have never felt forced or burdened with this opportunity so don’t feel bad! Our attempts at an AC have failed multiple times with multiple different plans and units. By this time of the year, all I can wish for is the natural change of weather in the fall. 🍂

In August I just need a little break to get my mental and physical health together. 🤷‍♀️

I hope to see you at the days we are able to park. Each visit and purchase makes a difference and keeps us open.

Thank you to everyone who came to our one year anniversary celebration. We had a fantastic time!

What started as me trying to nail down a mission statement for the book truck turned into a poem. I guess that’s the best way I can communicate what this business is and means to me.
