I started crafting as a child in the 70’s, making clothes for my Barbie doll, ornaments for the Christmas tree, and anything else that struck my fancy. By 1987 I was sewing on my own machine and continued to make clothing, quilts, and dolls giving many as gifts. After starting a family, I concentrated on making my children’s clothes, costumes, and home décor. I’ve been selling my handmade items on Ebay since 1999 and started selling at craft shows in 2009. You can find regular updates and links to my products on my Barbie Lynn’s page. I LOVE the environment, recycling and reusing/repurposing old or used items. I make everything I sell except for any vintage/antique items. I often blend the past to the present by using older fabrics, patterns, buttons, or ribbon. In addition to sewing, I also crochet, knit, cross-stitch & glue my crafts.

Found this great nursing fabric over the weekend. My bonus daughter starts nursing school this year (move in day was today). I can now post this surprise market tote I made for her for. ❤️ I made some modifications: an inside pocket and a button to secure the top.
