Hello everyone! We have exciting news. We set up a unique summer safari event for you this year! We will have the 501(c)(3) rescue donkeys here to help raise money to save and support donkeys in need.

Follow the "Donkey Safari" page below for more details on times, dates, special events and closures. Our Grand Opening is this Saturday May 23rd Noon-5PM.

As always, we are cash only at the gate (no booking required) but we do have tickets available through Eventbrite for our Canadian friends and credit card users.

This year we have a welcome building with a gift shop to purchase your tickets in. You may visit the gift shop freely anytime we are open without doing the trail. We have also expanded the parking for a few cars to pull in.

Tickets are $10 for the donkey safari and each ticket supports a donkey's nutritional needs for the day. (2 and under are free).

This is a Donkey Safari learning trail with live donkeys and other friends. An opportunity to meet some of the world's most Critically Endangered equine, miniature donkeys, and more!

The animals are all rescues so please proceed with quiet calm throughout the animal trails. Many have been abused in their past so best behavior is needed from our kiddos. Children must be supervised at all times. There is a Large Bouncy House up Meerkat Mountain away from the animals for the kids to have some fun as a reward for good behavior.

The trail is mapped out as an educational journey about donkeys and safari friends for both children and adults to enjoy!

Children will receive a Brave Explorer prize in the gift shop at the end for completing the learning trail. They must first conquer the Crocodile Crossing, Python Plains, and find the Mystery Beast.

Lots of amazing photo ops!! The forest is absolutely beautiful in spring, summer and fall.

We wanted to make this a lot of fun for the community, while also supporting a great cause for the donkeys.

We will have cold water bottles available for purchase in the gift shop that you may take with you on the trail but No food is allowed. If you're hungry after all this family fun adventuring, visit our friends next door at the Polar Treat!

We are open tonight Sunday December 14th! It is our last night of the season so make sure you come out and enjoy the beautiful lights and colossal displays!

It is the last night of The Christmas Forest season tonight and always a little bittersweet for us. We are sorry to be closing a little earlier this year but the weather does take a huge toll on the show each year. We are hoping to pack up and save some displays to keep our damages lower.

I want to extend a special thank you to the three girls that have worked the tickets, concessions and Toy shops here. They gave up their salary this year to keep kid prices low at just $5. Since we have opened, the kid price has always been $5 and we hope we can always do that! We want the children of Washington County and all over to remember the joyful memories made at the Christmas Forest. One day we hope to see the baby in your arms grow up and bring their own family. It is so heartwarming for us to create this special space for you each year. Thank you for coming out and supporting the trail! We have had the most wonderful time!

And a very very special thank you to Ron Kilby, Michelle Curtis from the Polar Treat, and Sweet Swirls by Londyn Curtis for your donations and special fundraisers for the Christmas Forest! You have always kept our hearts encouraged to keep going when the storms and loss were heavy. Your beautiful gestures mean so much to us. We are open tonight Saturday Dec 13th. It is the last weekend to come out and enjoy The Christmas Forest!

Trail has been salted and is a bit wet with some scattered snow so wear your best trail boots and hike through a dazzling lighted forest of over 400,000 lights and statues.

For the price of a meal you can experience a whole immersive Christmas Park in Perry with your family! A memory you and your children or partner will cherish forever. We can't keep this tradition alive without customers so don't wait before it's too late! Tonight and Tomorrow is the last day of the season! 🎄

4:30PM-7:00PM Ticket sales close at 6:30PM.

Tickets can be purchased any time with cash at the gate.

Closed Thursday 11th & Friday 12th due to ice on the trail. Last days of the season will be Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th. Any online tickets purchased on a closed date can be used on Saturday or Sunday. Sunday is our last day of the season. 🎄

Bundle up and come on down tonight, the trails are clear! A Christmas Park in the Downeast Coast of Maine with a 3/4 mile natural forested outdoor walking trail with Over 400,000 Christmas Lights, statues, music and colossal inflatables!
