August’s Hue of the Moment from is getting us ready to go back to school. 🤓 Honor Roll Dropout is a gorgeous blend of pinks, yellows, purples, blues, and greens. We’re completely smitten with the “Still Got an A” shawl that uses 2 skeins of Twist Light. As usual, the pattern is free with this month’s yarn purchase.

Local designer and crafting extraordinaire Taylor Brooks has a new pattern out just in time for the Heartland Yarn Adventure. The Garter Brick Cowl calls for 2 skeins of fi*****ng weight yarn and is perfect for showcasing those special skeins. The pattern is FREE during the adventure with project yarn purchase! We can’t wait to see all of the color combos knit up in this design.

A shop favorite here at CKS is Woolstok Light by and now we carry this fi*****ng weight yarn in mini skein bundles! The Kaleidoscope Wrap by Michael Vloedman uses 1 Woolstok Light Bundle + 2 skeins of Prairie. Feel free to use the minis in whatever order you like to create your own wearable rainbow. 🌈🌈
