Bar ALE started over 60 years ago in Petaluma, right here in our local farming community. The name “ALE” comes from the founders — Ash, Lewis, and Epping — and the brand originally came from a Sonoma County cattle operation.

Today, the company is still family-owned and operated, with ownership including Don Benson and members of the Lewis family, continuing the tradition of quality livestock feed.

And here’s a fun local connection… Rivertown Feed is associated with Bar ALE and is located on the site of the original Bar ALE feed mill.
