This 1977 Martin D-35 came in with a classic vintage ailment: the "pickguard crack." As these old guards age, they shrink and pull on the wood until something gives.

We got this beauty playing and sounding better than ever by:
✅ Carefully removing the original pickguard.
✅ Cleaning and regluing the top cracks.
✅ Installing a custom replacement guard (sourced by the customer on Etsy!).
✅ Finishing it off with a fresh refret, plek Fret level and setup for that buttery-smooth playability.
