Grief demands processing space. It does not come quietly tiptoing down the hall for permission.
It smacks you in the back of the head and keeps you reeling until you find the time to sit with it.
I will grieve this choice for a time, because it had to be made, and I mafe it. It doesn't have to make sense. It just has to be processed.

I'm giving away my dried flowers to customers today if they make me laugh or if I feel like it.

What a wild ride this has been. I will continue to advocate for the shop at every turn. It sucks to not be able to thrive here, where it all began.

As I have mentioned a lot in the past year: change is scary. And it doesn't stop being scary when you get used to it, you just get more used to it.

Working with fire and knives doesn't become less dangerous just because I've done it for years. And working with people will never cease to both excite and disappoint me in new ways. Every day is a chance to learn.
