*To donate funds: We’ll have a QR code on site so you can donate directly to the book fest.

*To donate supplies: Please bring newspapers, magazines, children’s scissors or glue sticks for our children’s session at the Petersburg Book Fest.

We are headed to New Orleans for blacklitwknd! We will be closed for a few days (Mon Jul 20 - Thu July 23) so please govern yourselves accordingly!

These trips are so special since we get to tour the city, see some Black owned bookstores like Baldwin and Company and Community Book Center and talk to some amazing authors!

This year has a special treat. I get to see the homey Jerid P. Woods Sr., Ph.D. (Akili Nzuri) live in the flesh. Been rocking with my man since I started Black Men Read Book Club and can’t wait to see him in person.

See you guys when we return! New Orleans here I come!
