Earlier this month, another round of growth took shape at our Kingsley location!

Our team completed our second on-site build of new Mobile To You portable storage units, adding even more inventory to help us serve customers throughout Northern and Northwest Michigan.

There’s a lot that goes into taking these units from individual components to finished, ready-to-deliver storage. A big thank you to our team!! They worked hard, worked together and did a great job bringing it all together.

And portable storage isn’t the only thing available from Kingsley. Our Portable Job Site Offices are also available to rent, giving contractors and businesses a comfortable, secure workspace delivered right to the job site — complete with heat/AC, electrical, lighting, and some come with a secure tool bay.

Our Kingsley location continues to grow giving us more inventory, better availability, and a strong home base for serving the Traverse City area and beyond.

BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING IN ALANSON!

We’re expanding our secure storage yard at our Alanson facility, doubling the size of our current lot and creating even more room to serve our customers.

The expanded yard will provide additional space for boats, RVs and campers, cars and trucks, along with more room to support our Mobile To You portable storage customers.

With a fully fenced lot, additional security cameras, and a convenient location just minutes from Burt Lake and the Crooked River, we’re excited about what this expansion will bring.

And now we’re down to the finishing touch… NEW BLACKTOP! The icing on the cake.

12 Acts of Kindness ~ July

This month, we had planned to spend the day volunteering with Little Traverse Conservancy, but sometimes schedules have other plans. Rather than let the opportunity pass us by, we chose to support their mission with a donation instead.

Little Traverse Conservancy works to protect the forests, shorelines, trails, rivers, and natural places that make Northern Michigan such an incredible place to call home. Their work helps ensure these special places can be enjoyed for generations to come.

Not every act of kindness has to be hands-on. Sometimes, supporting an organization financially is exactly what's needed.

As we continue our 12 Acts of Kindness journey, one thing we've realized is that these posts are about more than sharing what we're doing. They're an opportunity to introduce others to organizations doing meaningful work throughout our communities. If this post encourages even one more volunteer, donation, or conversation about Little Traverse Conservancy, then it's done exactly what we hoped.

12 Acts of Kindness ~ June️

This month's planned act of kindness was a donation to the Friends of the Alanson Area Public Library.

Libraries are so much more than shelves of books. They're places where children discover a love of reading, adults continue learning, neighbors gather, and communities grow stronger. Our donation will help support library programs, purchase supplies, and advance the Friends organization's goals of enriching the library for everyone. But June had one more surprise in store... a bonus side quest!

Our friends at Manna Food Project reached out to see if we could help with deliveries to our local neighbors and three members of our team were able to jump in.

Sometimes the best acts of kindness aren't the ones you plan—they're the unexpected opportunities that remind you how much a few hours can mean to someone else.
