Some new create-ors (my new term for "customers") traveled to us today.
I love how they dug into bins & went to each other. They shared ideas back & forth in between racks and rooms to piece it together.
One of the young create-ors today had a laced pony bead kandi star belt across her shoulder bag. (Not actual picture) It was SO cute!
We want to offer one-time classes & monthly group get-togethers for age groups including adults for friendship finding as well.
I think we found our first girl-led activity & instructor.

Project focus of the day.
We need an entrance that's indicative of our purpose & matches the personality inside. My online search for inspiration late last night took me to an upcycle of a hula hoop. Although I personally have used these for many projects, exterior signage hasn't been one until now. (This will be a Thursday after closing project unless a volunteer wants to help?)
Here are other ideas that can be made with other items here at below retail prices. The hoops here are 31" & thick plastic.

This one made me glow (AKA sweat) today.
So so so many mostly nylon lanterns for party or room or gazebo decorating. A small percentage of them are paper & new in packaging.
Add twinkle or bulb for lighting.

A beautiful donation of yarn and fabric pulls at the heart. You see the personality of the donor even when you didn't get the luxury of meeting them.
"Youthful Yarn" pops to mind with what can be done with a new arrival of items.
Personally, finger knitting was popular in my past life between young daughters & Girl Scout activities.
Watch for a pic later today of new skeins! Loving the yarn swag idea. Could be purposed as a picture & momento clipboard with mini clothespins.
