You want to be so proud of your kid when they say “I got it”

But selfishly a little piece inside of me gets sad because I think “this is one less thing they are going to need me for”

Sitting back and letting your kid go through the motions of WHATEVER it is they are trying to do (no matter if it takes 10x longer then what it was suppose to) is just something you have to do as a parent. Allowing them to figure it out helps build confidence and contribute to so much more of their development.

Over a year of exclusively cloth diapering. Do I think it is sustainable? Absolutely!
Is there times when it’s hard? Sure! Just like anything else you run into obstacles. But nothing gets in the way of doing what I feel is best for my little one.

So far this journey has been very rewarding! I can’t wait to share with y’all all that I have learned.
