This month's cross stitch pattern features a dandelion! Patrons insisted we have some rainbows to celebrate the season so of course we have some rainbow seedlings spreading their joy. I love subtle Pride patterns.

I've also included alternatives you can stitch! There's a natural version with no rainbows, and also a dandelion without the smirking face.

New in my shop - Rainbow Current

I've always wanted to design an orca. Orcas have been observed doing all the gay things, especially the adolescent males.

About this pattern! I stitched this in my favorite floss , and included a DMC conversion. There's also a customizable variation that allows you to use your favorite fancy floss for the candypop motifs.

Fly Proud Bookmark! (or batmark?)

Happy Pride, my homies. Here's a quick rainbow bat you can stitch as a bookmark or a patch! Or whatever. This is your stitch journey!

I stitched this pattern, dubbed Fly Proud, on 14ct Navy perforated paper by Mill Hill with 3 strands. Then I trimmed it down carefully with sharp scissors. I fudged up in a couple places, oops! If I had more time, I'd back it with felt, but it still works as a bookmark as-is!

Anyhoo, find this in my shop or ask your favorite needlework shop to stock it! Tell your mom!

Happy Pride Month, friends!! This year, I hope we protect each other and those that are struggling. No one should feel less than or endangered because of who they are.
