4 years.
It’s only been 4 years.
I have to stop and remind myself of that. When I started designing, I set the bar so high for myself. Like really high, like looking up and comparing my work to other designers that had 15, 20 years more experience than me.
That’s simultaneously bad and good. Do not recommend.
Bad because I could not create on that level then, not even close.
Good because it pushed me to not stop. For 4 years.
4 years of nonstop creative exploration.
4 years of saying yes to everything and everyone. Again, do not recommend.
4 years of creative breakthroughs and breakdowns.
And 4 years of continuously moving that bar up to the next level, just always slightly out of my reach. Never acknowledging how far I’ve come.

But for this moment I’m going to celebrate it, I’m going to say the thing I’ve been scared to say.

I did this and it is good.

Now, on to year 5 🖤

Simplicity doesn’t mean simple 🌿

Taking advantage of an intentionally later start to this year’s wedding season to continue to stretch and expand myself.

We are all here to learn perpetually, expand and level up. I’m not too sure that my leveling up is to be financial, but I’m rich in creating beauty.
Even if it’s just for myself…

Say hi and send love to all my amazing crew 🫶🏻

Work, work, work. Silently cheer you on and watch you get married 💍

Ceremony over and we flip, flip, flip.
Light the candles.
Last minute reception check and pep talks to all the flowers😘
And we’re out

Thanks to the best crew for this day🫶🏻 it was the smoothest ever and only possible because of them.
