Madison + Roman on 8/8 at the always beautiful Curtis Arboretum. Lucky for them the rain cleared up just in time for their ceremony and we could set up in their amazing outdoor space 🌤️ Lots of fun floral varieties were used in their designs including anthurium, hanging amaranthus, bells of ireland, dahlias, snapdragon and more 🩷💚

Maddie + Connor’s nature-inspired centerpieces were super fun to create. Coming up with the recipe of greenery and florals to design the look was probably the best part 🍃🌿🌾🪴🌱

So many greenery varieties went into these guys: sword fern, plumosa, aspidestra, weeping podocarpus, sprengeri fern, variegated lily grass, pitto negra, salal, baker fern, Israeli ruscus, Italian ruscus, agonis, parfivolia eucalyptus and probably even more I’m forgetting at the moment!

In addition to the greenery, we added some subtle boho and light floral touches: succulents, ranunculus, anemone, bunny grass, black scabiosa, dried scabiosa pods, thistle, chocolate and white queen anne’s lace, kale, larkspur and more.

I’ve had a lot of couples request hanging amaranthus lately (which is just so fun to work with), and I definitely hope that trend continues! For these designs, it was the perfect finishing touch 💚
