This Labor Day, we’re pouring back into the community that helps us grow🌱

We’re hosting a FREE Black Book Giveaway for youth ages 0–24, focused on books that center Black children, stories, history, and reflect our community.

And for the educators helping cultivate the next generation, we’re also offering a FREE Plant Giveaway🪴Our hope is that these plants can help teachers create classrooms that feel calming, comfortable and affirming for their students.

Books and plants are one per person and available while supplies last. All items must be reserved in advance to guarantee a giveaway! Check out the calendar on our site to RSVP!

September is here, and we’re starting the month strong! We’ve got a full month of plants, community, events and good vibes coming your way. We’re kicking things off with First Friday! Ameshia Stukes Vision Candle Bar to Plant and People🕯️

LABOR DAY GIVEAWAY!!! We’re showing some love to our community with TWO FREE giveaways🫶🏾
Teachers can stop by and grab a FREE PLANT🪴
Young folks ages 0–24 can grab a FREE BOOK📚
Both giveaways are happening on Labor Day 10-5pm while supplies last so come early!

We’re closing out the summer with one more Plant Bingo! Meet us on the lawn for an evening of plants, prizes, and good times🏆

Proceeds from Plant Bingo will benefit Get Fresh Daily, who works to expand equitable access to fresh, locally grown produce while providing culturally responsive wellness education, urban agriculture programming, and resources that help build healthier, more resilient communities🍃
