"Freaking News Break!" The Hamilton Street Porch was Yesterday and this is a quick Update. I'll be Back with All the dirt later after I get some rest. We had 2 hours sleep and worked all day on half a boiled egg and a quarter of an everything bagel will some cream cheese "Schmear." I'm sleepy, tired & hungry but Too excited not to pop in here for a second.
Well we Did it!! We Pulled off the Greatest Porch Sale in the History of Powelton Village! Why do you say that, you Ask?? In an Imperfect World under the Worst conditions the Hamilton Street Porch Sale broke out with Flying Colors.
With only 1 month to go we pulled together and Made it Work, because That's what your Supposed to do....................Make Shi$ Work!!
Just Look at the Weather!!!!! It was Absolutely PERFECT!! Whether you're Religious or are an Atheist!! Somehow All the Top Brass from All the Religions had a meeting and Someone was smart enough to invite the "Devil" too. 'Cause sometimes you've got to invite your "enemies" too, even If you don't like 'em!
Now, They all cut a deal to give Powelton Village a break and gave us a Perfect Day. Now, if you don't believe that just look at Yesterday and Today? If that crowd of "Devils & Angels" can get along, Why can't all of us?
Not getting in any discussion about various points of view about Religion, so don't start with me on that because what I just said was a rather "Colorful Metaphor."
We are the "Underdogs" of the Flea Markets, Markets, Shows, etc., just like the , but where we're lacking in size, we make it up in "Heart," Quality, Tenacity, Talent, Skills, Perserverance and good ole Pride! "If you don't like us, We don't Care! You all know what I mean. We Did it, and All of Powelton who Chipped in to Help make this happen should be Proud!! Even my friends over in Haddonfield at the Lions Club gave us a "Thumbs Up" plug.
Now That's What I'm Always 'Talkin 'bout!
