C&S Field Trip Day!
We closed the shop and headed into the city to check out the The Fabric Workshop and Museum and “Elegy Quilts” by Jesse Krimes . Such a powerful body of work.
Then we had the pleasure of popping in to say hi to our friends at Approved Textiles where inspiration abounds, and we finished off the day with a sweet treat from Cuzzy’s
If we had more time, we would have loved to check out Leona — next time!

Love love love when Laura comes to use the longarm for her beautiful art! She makes stunning cyanotypes and longarms the paper to achieve a collage effect.
She even left one piece lighter after she sold it to our shopkeeper, Tessa, who immediately fell in love with the beautiful original artwork! ✨

Our 2026 Back to School Camp has come to an end and we have seven amazing backpacks to show for it (+ maaaaaaany zip pouches + two giant body pillows)!

This was a special camp because half the cohort has been summer-camping with us for years and even attended the same camp in years past. To watch their sewing journeys evolve has been such a joy!

A special shoutout goes out to our lovely assistants for this week, Dot Jackson & our teen intern N.W.! ✨ 🫶
