Ya know those beautiful blocks you’ve been sending in for our monthly Quilt Block Drive for quilting4good ?! Here’s some proof that they’re actually getting finished up and donated ✨ SO many of you have been contributing to these quilts and we can’t thank you enough. Just last week, Susan of Q4G delivered NINETY-FIVE quilts which is putting Q4G close to hitting the 2026 goal of delivering 250 quilts this year!

Upcoming Class Spotlight:
Oct 12th / Nov 3rd with Krystle

You can wear your heart on your sleeve (or your chest!) after you join us in making our own upcycled garments to show how we really feel. Wear your new piece to the polls or just around town, make as many as you want!

We’ll use techniques like raw edge applique, double sided fusible adhesives, and hand applique to upcycle our garments to give them new life. We encourage you to bring something you have already or thrift something for the occasion!

Wow wow wow wow!!! This most recent round of finished Fancy Goose quilts is so impressive! 👏 They’re all so unique and well done—but that first 4x/full size, are you kidding?!

What’s so wonderful about this Beginning Quilting class is that you’re learning foundational quilt blocks to use in your future quilt (plus you end the class with a *finished* quilt!). Some students were also inspired by the blue & white HST quilt hanging on the wall made for quilting4good and realized they can totally handle something like that now after the half square triangle practice they got in Beginning Quilting! 👏

Our next Hand Sewing class series for ages 5-7 starts soon! Kids learn how to use a needle & thread, practice cutting, basic hand stitches, and even learn how to sew on buttons.
Plus, it’s the perfect amount of time to walk yourself down to Downtime Bakery for a little Saturday AM treat while your kid is learning life skills ✨

Scam Alert 🚨
It’s not unheard of for us to be contacted about a sewing or embroidery machine someone is giving away so the first time we got this email back in Aug from “Donna” it didn’t immediately raise a red flag — although that is a $20k machine she mentioned so we were like 🤔 Turns out “June” sent us the same exact email with the same exact machine, etc.
The scam is that they’re not local to you so you need to pay for “shipping” a very-expensive-but-free-to-you machine you’ll never receive. Don’t be fooled, friends.
