As my tenure at UArts comes to an end, I am finally able to reflect upon my time here and how grateful I am for the experiences and relationships that have shaped my journey—as an alumni, a staff member and, in these past few months, as part of the wind-down team.
It’s been a privilege to work alongside a group of people so creative, passionate, and committed to the arts. This place breathed life into the creativity burning within us and drove us to do what only we could.
We made good art.
We got by with a little help from our friends.
We built a community—one that fostered growth and respect.
UArts was so much more than a place or a history. It's a way of thinking; a way of doing; a way of creating. So go, spread your ideas and your dreams, let them take hold and never let them go. Make this world a place full of wonder and excitement. Ignite the fires of creativity wherever you go. Let everyone know that UArts still lives on in you.
