One Guinness World Record.
And now… GOLD!

Our record-breaking National Cheesesteak Day celebration PHL International Airport has officially won a Gold Stevie Award in the 23rd Annual International Business Awards!

We set out to celebrate Philly by attempting something that had never been done before: creating the Longest Line of Cheesesteaks in the world.

And we did it!

But this day became about so much more than breaking a record. When TSA employees were impacted by the federal government shutdown, we were able to turn part of our celebration into a giveback and donate hundreds of cheesesteaks to members of our PHL airport community.

From our cheesesteak operators and airport partners to everyone who helped plan, build, serve, measure, document and support 1,291 cheesesteaks stretching through the concourse, this one belongs to the entire PHL community.

A Guinness World Record and a Gold Stevie Award.

That’s a pretty good way to celebrate a Philly cheesesteak.
