Since everyone's so distraught this morning. Let me say this about the :
I'm not angry over the presidential race. Surprised a lil but angry no. As I've mentioned before.. the world just isn't ready for a female president (yet). With president Obama we voted for race and not reason, and at the end of his presidency we almost fell into a recession.
Economy was down bad. Think about, as African American women we couldn't vote til almost 1965, so I didn't agree with how the 'race card' was circumvented around Kamala winning, but not actual. Even though Trump intends to destroy a lot with "Project 2025", it hypothetically means nothing. Why? There are too many powertul people in place that create the laws that he signs for. The majority would also have to rule in agreement for those laws to suffice. Scared of building a wall from a man that's married to an immigrant, is unrealistic. Not saying that, women are inferior because We are NOT but as a woman, other countries will treat us as such.
Period.
Moreover, we as an African American race we have LIVED in the world without disability, abortions, welfare.. even schools had before the "No child left behind act" (where people had to repeat their grades when they failed) it was unfortunate, but it also forced them students to level up so they wouldn't have to repeat it again. It wasn't easy but it was done.. What are we worried about? It's time to tighten up your laces and get
to work...
POV: I voted for Kamala to give her a chance tho I knew it wasn't realistic ๐ฉ , Pa still won trump๐ฎโ๐จ๐.
