A little personal post from me today. 💚

If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little quieter lately, this is why.

The past few weeks have been focused on my family as we celebrated my sweet Alfie’s 3rd birthday. We’ve also had some difficult days navigating autism, so I stepped back to be fully present where I was needed most.

We took a trip down the shore with our family to celebrate. Alfie wasn’t a fan of the beach, but he absolutely loved the boardwalk! He kept us laughing with his silly personality, danced whenever he heard music, and reminded us to find joy in the little moments.

Thank you all for your patience while I took a step back, and thank you to everyone who sent birthday wishes for our little guy. Your kindness truly means so much.

As a small business owner and a mom of three, my family will always come first. I appreciate every bit of grace and support you’ve shown while I took the time to celebrate this milestone and recharge.

Now it’s time to get back in the kitchen—I’m excited to create something sweet for all of you again. 💚

💚 A Little Check-In from Cedar & Sugar Co. 💚

Over the last few days, I took a much-needed mental break from the business to unplug, recharge, and spend some quality time with my family. This past weekend was especially special as we celebrated my son’s birthday, and I wanted to be fully present to soak up those moments with him.

If you’ve sent me a message recently, thank you so much for your patience. I’ll be working through all of my messages throughout the day and will get back to everyone as soon as I can.

Please remember that I’m not only the baker behind Cedar & Sugar Co., but also a mom of three. My family will always come first, and I answer messages whenever I’m able between baking, appointments, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with motherhood.

If you’ve seen posts from me over the last few days, those were scheduled ahead of time! My social media posts are automated, and I had my notifications turned off while I took a break, so I wasn’t ignoring anyone—I was simply taking the time I needed to reset and celebrate with my family.

Thank you for always showing me so much grace, patience, and support. Being able to stay home with my children while building Cedar & Sugar Co. is something I’ll never take for granted, and it’s because of all of you that I get to do both.

I’m back and will be responding to messages throughout the day. Thank you again for your understanding—I can’t wait to create something sweet for you! 💚
