Open Mouth Records Presents:

Kelly Bray is a trumpet player and improvisor whose solo electroacoustic music combines elements of ambient music, noise, and free improvisation. Appearing on bills with claire rousay and evicshen in 2025/2026, her performances have been described as "a tour de force of electroacoustic trumpet pyrotechnics". Her solo electroacoustic album, "pyromania", released in early 2026.

In addition to her electroacoustic work, Kelly Bray is known as a regular on the East Coast free improvisation and free jazz scene. She has performed and collaborated with the likes of Joe Morris, Nick Neuberg, Brittany Karlson, Alan Braufman, among others. In May of 2026, she released "striations", a duo record with pianist Jacob Hiser, who stated that "she can tune into the exact frequency of anyone she collaborates with and steer the music in any direction".
