There’s a dang nor’easter going on out there and it sure is wetting up everyone’s weekend plans... so why not take a look at the new Brave New Worlds Comics email newsletter that’s got all the comics coming your way for the final Wednesday of September (09.30.2026)! 🔗 in bio!

Today’s Wednesday September 23, 2026 and it’s OFFICIALLY Fall out there as of 8:05pm last night when we reached the Autumnal Equinox. It’s also Wednesday so you know what that means...it means it’s time for Comics AGAIN! already!

This week we’ve still got copies of the Batman Day BATMAN OF TWO WORLDS one-shot if you were unable to come out on Sat. for Batman Day. You can stop worrying. Also DC’s got a new Absolute Character making a debut in the pages of ABSOBATS today so while you’re grabbing that maybe grab the BD Spec! Marvel’s got another crossover some of you have been waiting for and others will be confused by...it’s time for the MUPPETS TO TAKE THE MARVEL UNIVERSE! Yeah. THE Muppets are crossing over with all the Marvel characters. And we should note that the INFERNAL HULK is VS-ing WOLVERINE today too! There’s a new MEGA MAN series, another CONAN, yet another HELLRAISER, and an all new THAT TEXAS BLOOD. Don’t miss out on the new STAR TREK ongoing, a new installment in the Snake Pliskin saga as he’s gotta ESCAPE CHICAGO this time around...oh and there’s a new series called CRIMES AGAINST NATURE that features a cover covered in bananas!

All these and a lot more are available right now (when we’re open of course) so get on up off the couch and/or run (don’t walk) away from the office and come get some comics today! They’re better than working anyways.

Be back here in a week for another instalment of Comics AGAIN! as we approach the midnight release of Marvel’s MIDNIGHT Universe! More on that then.

09/16/2026

It’s Wednesday September 16, 2026 and BRiAN is back to it here at Comics AGAIN! (huge thanks to Cacey for holding it down while he was out of town)...but as you’re well aware it’s time for Comics AGAIN! to look at all the new (1s) comics out today!

DC’s Absolute Universe continues to expand its roster of titles and this week that includes a brand new one-shot! Spinning from Absolute Bat came the Absolute Cat and now from there you get the ABSOLUTE CASSANDRA CAIN! Don’t miss this especially if you’re reading the AbsoCat book! Marvel’s X-books hit the goalpost set by their villains known as 3K as the mutant plague is set to mess things up here in Philly unless the X-Men can stop it (since they’ve already glimpsed that future a new months back) so check out the new DNX x-event to see how that all turns out and if any of the other heroes will help them... Oh yeah there are True Believers Blind Bags for this and they cost the same as the main cover so why not give them a shot!?! THE BIG SHAKEDOWN is all about living after the Big One earthquake that people always say is gonna hit California. FOX MASK KILLER is here to expand the world of crazy killers from the Exquisite Killers series (man, I’ve gotta catch up on that book) while OFIUSA adds more, er umm, body to Guillem March’s body of work. Oh and if you need some horror to prep you for the upcoming Holiday Season don’t miss out on the next batch of CREEPSHOW stories or the new HELLRAISER RESURRECTIONS - THE DEEP GOSPEL that will surely send a tingle up your spine!

Besides all of this stuff DO NOT MISS OUT ON the upcoming BATMAN DAY which is THIS SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 19th! That’s the day that the exclusive BATMAN OF TWO WORLDS one-shot featuring BOTH versions of Batman in one comic! Yeah you know it! ABSOLUTE BATMAN and regular BATMAN in one place at one time for a low low price. The book goes on sale Sat. when we open our doors (no sooner) and will be on our shelves until we sell out! So be there or be square...ya know like the shape you’d use the most to draw Absolute Batman... Batman is so hot right now.
