I'm more than beyond stokered to announce (if you didn't already catch wind on the street) my esteemed colleague & co-worker, stunt double, and West Philly's FINEST repair honcho Carlo IS TAKING OVER THE SHIP!!

Same great prices, same excellent service, s**t, even the same phone number (215-72-MUSIC)!! BUT the revamped shop will feature, among other things, a WICKEDLY expanded musical supply selection, oh, & duh, a new name: COMMON BEAT!! To say I'm elated for him & the neighborhood would be a vast understatement.

Thanks again for the all the well wishes. I can't think of a person more qualified than Carlo to carry on & handsomely upgrade our West Philly institution.

Dear West Philly: After 14 prismatic hiccups around the sun, it's time to bid you an affectionate adieu, and, more importantly, a burly THANK YOU for your fervid, enchanting patronage. It's been a hoss trip, but this is officially The Marv's last week as yer exclusive liaison for the most cosmopolitan array of jammers in the city proper.

In celebratory appreciation of your distinguished & wildly diverse tastes, i'll be unburdening the bins and giddily dropping the proverbial s**thammer upon my already nasty prices come noon Tuesday, July 11th, thru 8pm Friday the 14th, so do slide by for a final crack at the racks!!

In closing (no pun intended), please grok my sincere gratitude, for your unique patronage will be eternally treasured.
