We had such a great time at the Port Richmond Flea Market November edition. Next month second Saturday, December 13, Santa Claus will be with us. Don’t forget to sign your kids up and RSVP.

Volunteers for the Flea Market are always welcome and messages us if you’re interested in vending .

Santa might need some elves to help. Also we will be collecting blankets coats, mittens, gloves, hats, and scarves for our un-housed community in Port Richmond.

Here’s a complete grocery list for each Thanksgiving Dinner Box, designed to feed about 4–6 people and include everything needed for a cozy, hearty, traditional-style meal with sides and dessert.

🦃 Thanksgiving Dinner Food Drive Box (Non-Perishable Version)
🥫 Protein (Turkey Substitute)

4–6 cans chunk chicken breast or 4–6 cans tuna/salmon

1 jar or can of chicken gravy (or packets of powdered gravy mix)

🥔 Sides

1. Mashed Potatoes

1 box instant mashed potatoes

1 can evaporated milk

1 stick or small bottle shelf-stable butter substitute or margarine

Salt & pepper packets (optional)

2. Stuffing

1 box stuffing mix

1 can chicken broth (to moisten)

3. Green Bean Casserole

2 cans green beans

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 container crispy fried onions

4. Cranberry Sauce

1 can cranberry sauce

5. Corn

2 cans whole kernel corn

6. Sweet Potatoes or Yams

1 can sweet potatoes or yams

1 small bag mini marshmallows (optional but festive)

1 small can pineapple chunks (optional)

1 small box brown sugar

7. Bread/Rolls

1 package ready-to-bake dinner rolls (shelf-stable) or box of biscuit mix

1 small jar honey or jam

🥧 Dessert

1. Pumpkin Pie Option

1 can pumpkin purée

1 can sweetened condensed milk

1 box pie crust mix or ready-made graham cracker crust

1 small can pumpkin pie spice (or small jar of cinnamon/nutmeg)

or

2. Cake or Cookie Option (simpler alternative)

1 box spice cake mix

1 can frosting or powdered sugar for glaze

1 small bottle vegetable oil (for baking)

☕️ Extras & Comfort Items

1 box instant coffee, tea bags, or hot cocoa packets

1 box cornbread mix

1 can fruit cocktail

1 small bag sugar

1 small can evaporated milk or creamer

1 disposable aluminum roasting pan

1 roll paper towels

1 Thanksgiving message card or recipe card for how to combine items

💛 Optional Add-Ons (for larger boxes or family variety)

Box of macaroni & cheese

Can of peas or carrots

Box of pasta and a can of tomato sauce

Box of instant pudding mix

Bag of dried cranberries or nuts for salad or snacking
