Prickly Pear Cacti are relatively easy to maintain. Their growth rate varies between slow and moderate. You should expect it to take several years to reach their full size. These cacti thrive in full sunlight 6-8 hours daily is best. These guys are drought resistant but still need a good watering here and there as well as a well draining sandy soul mixture.
