Nobody works harder than a team preparing to take on 10,000 rounds of “Do you have any NeeDoh?” and “What about Jellycats?” 😂

And for those asking, no, we don’t carry Jellycats. We wish we could, but their stockist requirements don’t currently allow us to. Trust us, we’re just as sad about it as you are 🥲

There will be plenty of time for schedules and responsibilities and growing up. Childhood gets such a small window.

Let them spend an entire afternoon building something that makes absolutely no sense. Let them ask 400 questions. Let them carry the same stuffed animal everywhere, make a giant mess, buy one more squishy, change the rules halfway through the game and believe with their whole heart that the floor is lava.

Not everything needs to be productive. Not every moment needs to be preparing them for what comes next.

Sometimes the very best thing we can give our kids is the space to just be little. 💛

We really didn’t want to have to do this 😢 But we take a lot of pride in the integrity of this store, the trust we’ve built with our families, and the role Wildlings plays in this community. When that integrity is publicly called into question, staying quiet starts to feel like allowing someone else to tell our story for us.

So, here are the receipts. 🧾💚 Not selected screenshots. Not one side of the conversation. The context, the explanations that were already given, the attempts to end the conversation, and what was actually said ( not to mention the manyyy donations).

You can disagree with our policies. You can think we got something wrong. You can choose to shop somewhere else. We will always be okay with that.

But questioning our intentions, misrepresenting what happened, and suggesting that money collected for our annual toy drive isn’t actually going toward children is something we take very seriously.

We love this little store. We love the families who have made it what it is. And after five years of showing up for this community, we’re going to protect the trust we’ve worked so hard to earn.

We’re big believers that there are two sides to every story. So, here’s ours… with receipts. 💚

You don’t have to agree with every policy we make. You don’t have to like how we handle every Nee Doh drop. And you absolutely don’t have to shop with us.

But when our business, our intentions, and our moral integrity are publicly misrepresented, we’re allowed to provide the context that was left out.

Videos like this can have very real consequences for a small, family-owned business. Especially when they include inaccurate claims about our policies, question whether donations intended to benefit children are actually being donated, and portray situations we had already explained as intentionally malicious.

And when your platform is repeatedly referenced during a private disagreement as something that can be used against our business, we take that seriously.

Something about that story sounds a little familiar to our little local community doesn’t it? … 👀

We don’t handle every drop the same. We try things, we learn, we adjust, and through all of it, our goal remains the same:

Discourage reselling, give kids a fair chance, and do what we believe is best for the Wildlings community.

To the families who are here for the right reasons and continue to support our small, family-owned business, we are SO thankful for every one of you. 💚
