Come spend the day with me at the River City Roots Festival ☀️🎶💖
My parents are the best and always help with market days! The event starts at noon but it’s in the heart of downtown so we decided to get there early for easier unload.
My mom took this picture to send to my husband because putting the tent walls up is his least favorite job 😂
Since the market doesn’t start until noon, we get all the displays done and then go home to do makeup, change and eat breakfast before go time!
Oops we drove past a yard sale and the way home and couldn’t resist!
Makeup and hair done, outfit change, walking back to the market!
Aaaaand I’m late. Who’s surprised?
I’ll always keep coming back to this event because they take the BEST care of us! Breakfast, lunch and dinner, cold water, snacks and even beer on tap for vendors and volunteers!

Got away from my booth to visit ✷ MARIKA MARX ✷ BIRD BRAIN CREATIONS ✷ to print on my tshirt and jeans at her flash printing station!
Gotta stayed fueled up! (And yes I did just say we get free food but these salads from Basal are too good to say no to sorry)
The best part of the whole weekend was being next to Yucca Moon House Sage Friss and Bailey Durnell and meeting in the corner to hang out lol

At this market we’re required to stay open til 7pm but can stay open as late as we want! I’ve always found that it really picks up right before the final music goes on so these are the busiest hours of the whole event!
My amazing parents came back to help me pack up product and secure my tent. This is a 2 day market so we put the walls up over night and take away product so there isn’t anything tempting to steal 👀
All done with day 1! 🥳
