Join us on Saturday, November 21st from 1-2:30pm to learn bat basics and beyond with Hally Cokenias, co-founder of Arizona Bat Rescue. This event will cover bat myths, biology and behavior, the incredible diversity of bats, and how Arizona Bat Rescue helps our native bats. You will also have the opportunity to meet a live bat and get all of your questions answered.

Whether you’re already interested in bats or feel uncertain about them, this class will change how you view these often misunderstood creatures!

Join us on Sunday, September 27th from 1-2:30pm for a hands-on workshop that turns your child into a bone detective! We’ll be discussing what owls eat and how they digest their meals, before diving into a live dissection demo to show the students how to carefully work on their own pellets. Afterwards, we’ll count and identify the prey remains using a bone ID guide. Every child will leave with their unearthed bones, tips on how to care for them, and new insight into the animal world!

All materials and safety gear will be included.

This class is for children aged 8 and up. Each child must be accompanied by one (and only one) parent or guardian. One parent or guardian can be present for multiple children, but each child must be paid for separately.
