Unique wedding ideas part 2 (craziest processional you've prob ever seen!)
My husband & I have 5 grown children & 2 of their spouses so, of course, we wanted them all to stand up with us but we both also have some very long term, very dear friends that we wanted to include as well!! So we had only our family stand up with us, but we had our friends come down the aisle in a very fun & entertaining way!! The only instructions were: 1- they could wear anything they wanted w/i the very broad color spectrum I shared with them months before! 2- they do anything they wanted down the aisle, to their choice of music as long as it was FUN!!!!! So our youngest girls came down together to the song Paparazzi, both had their cell phones & took selfies with the guests down the aisle!! Our guests did NOT disappoint, they all squeezed in to be included in the selfies & we got amazing candid pics out of it!!! Sooo fun! We also had great friends who live in Maui & brought lil Mai Tai shooters they tossed out to the guests & then came up to do a quick mini shot with us at the 'altar' to a local Hawaiian song!! My girlfriends from Jr High Cheer 🤯 wore cute lil cheer dresses & shoes w/pompoms on them & carried wedding colored pompoms & danced down the aisle to 'We will Rock You!!'!! (Made me so proud!!😝) My sister's fam (from Orlando) all came down carrying things from Fl to 'The Rhythm is gonna get You' by local Paula Abdul! (ie an inflatable shark & alligator & my niece handed out lil cutie oranges!!) my best friend was our 'flower girl' & she holstered petal cannons💥 to her waist & shot them off over the guests to AcDC Back in Black🤘 and my husband's groom's lady & family showered the guests with Bubbles to my husband's fave Elvis song ('falling in love') & our 1 yr old grandson was our 'ring security' & rode down the aisle in a remote controlled police car (a nod to my husband's late father's long police/SWAT career!) My husband & I danced & laughed & thoroughly enjoyed every minute!! By the time we were ready to begin the somewhat more serious ceremony our guests were ready to settle down a bit!
