GEN2 EcoBoost coolant line leak? Here's why.

That rubber bushing sealing the factory hard lines wasn't built to last forever. Heat expands and contracts it, coolant packs deposits into the joint, the bushing moves around, and it starts to leak. Not as common as the GEN1 failure, but we're seeing it more and more as these trucks age.

Our fix: lose the bushing, go AN.

Reliability + power starts with fixing the weak links. This is one of them.

2013 F-150 EcoBoost. 109K miles. One Formline® kit later: "Not the same truck. At all."

“Had done all the other upgrades but waited for the "Big One." As they do, the factory screws began to make noise and I was not waiting to get stranded. Bought the Formline kit, had it professionally installed, loaded the base MPT tune... WOW. Diesel like torque and a thick powerband. Looking forward to the tune tweaks, and might want to tone it down just a bit, as I am an old man, not a teen. Packaging of the kit was over the top. The parts looked like artwork, and the necessities were well organized AND included the special tool that you may not have on hand. Well done Full-Race! My only suggestion is to include 2 larger decals so others will know why they were just blown off the road!”

The Full-Race team is on the ground today at KCAP (Kansas City Assembly Plant), one of the two plants where Ford builds the F-150. Watching these trucks come together from bare metal to twin-turbo machines is mind-blowing... at a rate of 70 trucks per hour!
